It gets worse, I took a closer look at my tires, Look at how much weight one of my BRAND NEW tires required to balance it out.

This is a picture of 1 tire. No new tire should need 3 and 1/2 ounces to balance out. None of my old tires ever needed that much weight.

Well, BBB Strikes, The General manager called me up today and told me that he would refund my money for the tire I had to replace. Just in case anyone wanted to know.

Glad to hear that the BBB route actually worked out for you. too often the shops/stores just say effem and go on their merry way. Hopefully the new tires hold up better for you.

Wow man im sorry to hear about the issue you had. I was the one who recommended these as i never had issues out of 2 sets. But im glad to see the BBB stepped in and helped out. It might have just been one bad one, but i know that piece of mind is definitely more important.

Sorry! If you did not buy the road hazzard protection you are s.o.l. They can make you happy but they legaly don't have to.

That's why they sell the extra protection for those unexpected situations.

I have the Revo II and i bought the road hazzard protection and so far i have not used it. Love the tires.. Sorry again!!

Good luck!!

Yep that 'twas a BS line. The GMs of these tires chain stores make a tiny base salary. Almost all of their pay comes off the bottom line, and if he replaced your tire for free, he'd be taking money out of his pocket!

I'm thinking HE got told by corporate to "make it right" after the BBB got in touch with them. The BBB won't make an effort to go to the local store, they'll get in touch with someone at corporate EVERY TIME.

Big companies HATE bad BBB ratings...

Hammer is right. I had a whole bunch of problems with a Clarion in dash DVD player awhile ago, had the $800 radio a year and it went out. They make you send it to one of their authorized repair shops. Fine, okay w me. Long story short I didnt have my radio 8 months later even after threatening calls and messages.

Called BBB and the guy called me two days later and told me he was sending me a new unit the next day and to call BBB and tell them it was resolved. Said Clarion was threatening his million dollar contract w them. He sent me a refurb unit but better than it sitting in his shop!

Well, After a while of driving around, I actually am pretty happy with the tires. The balance was horrible. I took the tires to a friends shop and re-balanced them myself on a road force. All in all just between the 2 rear's I took off 14oz of weight. 1 balanced out with 1.25oz and the other was at 1.75oz. The front tires were actually pretty balanced only needing 3 quarters of oz together.

Re-balancing changed everything, Now drive do the road real smooth, Not a lot of road noise, all in all the tires are real nice.

I wish I had taken a picture of the damage the guy did to my old tire, Huge pieces taken out, That was my main anger point. On top of which I believe I got a defective tire or installer damaged it.

I generally don't Believe RH warranties. After the tire is a couple months old, I consider it is used and have no problem replacing it IF I genuinely did something to it that I can't fix.

But anyways now I am happy now that I got my money, I really didn't think it was gonna happen.

IMO any vehicle over about 4000 lbs. the tires should be road force balanced...
