on the awesome suggestion from CJS444, I painted my gas cap and nerf bars black. used Plasti-Dip and went through about 3 - 4 coats each. took about 5 hours total from start to finish but am so happy with the end result and how much better I think my truck looks! what you guys think?

Took it off the truck and cleaned it up real good and sprayed away! Yea, I used the aerosol, and I'm by no means skilled at all at spraying, but it was fairly easy.

 

Thanks for the kudos guys. Thinking of doing the grill insert and emblems next.

 

I did my grill inserts and totally changed the look of the truck.

dude we have the exact same truck!!! lol except I took off the nerf bars. How'd you paint the gas cap? I HATE my chrome one :l

I've also heard you aren't supposed to paint over chrome? I'm new to this guys and I need a lot of help lol.
