I would not shade them but I would take them apart and color match them to your body paint

Id say just get either black or body matched spray paint and tape off some eyelids and the whole bottom were the reflector is and paint on top of the lens. The headlight will still be chrome but it will get rid of the orange reflectors. Then if you want, paint the inside black. Thats what I did to mine.

the chrome strip is not needed, you can black it out with the base paint you are using....or you could paint it to glow a cool color like red or blue?

The reflector you LEGALLY have to have, you could VHT it to still allow light through (or just dust it with whatever you are using also) or like i did and PAINT OVER IT lol

I did my whole front end in the VHT paint, thats what i was gonna use on my headlights so it all would match........ so in other words i should just say screw it and paint the reflectors black or paint the chrome black and leave the reflectors the same
