why do threads get tagged with "moved"

anyone know why my last couple threads got "Moved"???????????????????

I dunno. I rarely move a thread as I leave stuff like that to the individual section moderators for the most part.

But my guess would be it was started in the wrong section (non-tech in the tech section or tech question in the general discussion section).

I moved this one because it's OBVIOUSLY not technical in nature...

i kind of find that funny how you're asking about why they get moved and it gets moved wouldnt that be irony

Too many guys view a moved thread as an insult or something. IT'S NOT! When a section moderator moves a thread, he's doing so simply to place it in a section where it will be found easier in relation to other similar threads. It's nothing more than routine maintenance of the forum and a bit of "house keeping" and should only be viewed in that manner...
