Default How to paint aluminum diamond plate tool box?

I want to get a Black Diamond plate cross bed tool box. I keep seeing good deals on used silver ones. At good prices but no black ones. So I was wondering just what I would have to do to make one Black. Any help would be appreciated.

Get a black one. If you use your toolbox, you'll scratch off anything short of powder coat, and if you are gonna pay for powdercoating, you might just as well buy a black one in the first place.

I know some guys will chime in that bed liner will be tough enough, but I've never seen anybody pull off painting bedliner on where it didn't look like a hack job...

TSC has them for $289.00 in black. Not too shabby! And worth it!

I thought of that but when you add the cost of the powder coating to the used tool box it cost equal to or more than buying a new one.

Man that sucks!!! I live at TSC, all my stuff for my home-made projects come from there. You can buy some serious heavy duty shackles and stuff like that for a third of what the truck accessory places charge for them...

I don't allow my dogs to drink hard alcohol, although I might give them a little bit of my beer on occasion...
