Awsome thread, I just picked up my 06 2wd and know nothing about lifting. I HAVE QUESTIONS and id love to learn from you guys mistakes and such. In your opion what is the best height to lift the truck. I use it every day and comfort is a priority. What size tires work best, and gear change, drive shaft. Any info good or bad is what Im after! thank guys n gals

Well if comfort is your top priority then I would get either a level or a 4" lift. Any bigger and it makes getting in and out that much harder and loading stuff in the bed harder too. A level kit would look good with 33" tires up to 34's and a 4" lift with 35's.

O and i forgot to mention, being that you have a 2wd. Drop spindles are your best bet and if you want it to be higher later on, just add longer springs.
