Let's see ALL the lifted 2WD's out there
i will prolly be castized for sayin this but i jacked my front up yesterday to check some components and it looked damn good i had to jack it up pretty far to get the wheels off the ground and it still looked sexy as hell, even my buddy was like damn rams look good dropped or lifted....
OMG, is Jay coming over to the dark side?
I wonder what's next? Chrome? I'll be in Georgia the end of this month thru about Thanksgiving, maybe I need to pick up some sheets of polished aluminum, diamond plate or stainless steel.... LMAO!!!

Thats a negative, once you got black there's no going back.
Awsome thread, I just picked up my 06 2wd and know nothing about lifting. I HAVE QUESTIONS and id love to learn from you guys mistakes and such. In your opion what is the best height to lift the truck. I use it every day and comfort is a priority. What size tires work best, and gear change, drive shaft. Any info good or bad is what Im after! thank guys n gals
Well if comfort is your top priority then I would get either a level or a 4" lift. Any bigger and it makes getting in and out that much harder and loading stuff in the bed harder too. A level kit would look good with 33" tires up to 34's and a 4" lift with 35's.
i repeat jay is not lifting the truck.....the truck will stay where its at i may not even drop it anymore but focus on my appearance and buying a swap in hemi for when i decide to pull the 287 and go big....
