02-09 ram black paint

Does the paint code change hear to year or at all during 2002 to 2009

I have an 06 black mega cab and I'd like to get a black bumper. And I'm wondering if I need to stay with specific years. Thanks

Yea 06 and up has brilliant black code PXR and 05-down has a non metallic/pearl black
