I think I may want to get one but I am not sure what one would be great to own. I am on crutchfield.com looking at some single din units and I see that you can order adapter dash piece that will hold a single din unit since our trucks have the double din. Has anyone else used this site and if so what did you get? Or any other aftermarket units you recommend.

Also I am not sure how difficult it would be to install.

kenwood makes a great doube DIN dvd/nav combo. touch screen and very accurate. I have the factory nav, looks good, works terrible. My 100 dollar tomtom beats it every time.

 

curious! i just installed the rec unit in my 08 but waiting on gps ant from dealer before it is 100%. however, looks great and the wood grain bezel that replaced the plain black, really sets off the interior appearance. if the nav is so bad, what ver of software are u running?
