Hey all saw another Ram on the road with the paint on bedliner he/she had put on the lower rocker panels the length of the truck. It was a dark gray truck with black bedliner. I was wondering if there is a special tape to lay down to get a nice straight line when you pull it it off and not have any tape residue left on the area. I'll be using Durabak liner they offer a wide range of colors. I just don'twant to use the same silver/light gray on my Molten Red (like adeep burgandy) that everyone else does. H

 

Just green painter's masking tape should be good?

 

frog tape is my favorite....if you are worried about the buildup on the tape pulling off some of the paint, double the edge of the tape over

 

When i did mine on my truck i used green painters tape and spent a long time making it perfectly straight even thought i had two tone paint...
