Question Looking for new tires.

Im trying to buy some New tires for my 2004 dodge ram 1500 i just bought 20" wheels from dick cepek and i also ordered a 4" lift kit. Does anyone have any suggestions for an off road/on road tire. I really like the Nitto Terra grappler M/T tires but i want to know a good size for my truck

Nitto Terra Grapplers is an A/T tire. Good, solid tire though.

With 4" of lift, 295/60/20s should be the ticket...

they just recently came out with a M/T series. Do you think a 305/55/20 would fit

No prob. If your wanting to go offroad, you may want to go a little bigger because there's not much sidewall on a 33" tire that is mounted on a 20" wheel.
Not sure how much those 33's are, but most guys with a 4" lift run 35's.
Do you know the specs on your wheels such as backspacing? 4.5" or there abouts?? and what is the width?
There are 12.5" wide 35" tall tires you can get for around $1300. not exactly sure what your budget is?
Also, I would reccomend getting a Superchips tuner if you can swing it. You'll be able to adjust your speedo if you get the 35's and you have so many more options available such as tranny adjustments to help in mpg's and also make your truck light on it's feet! Superchips is having a sale right now. $25 off Flashpaq's($275) and $50 off Cortex($300). Best mod ever for our trucks IMO. Just something to think about.

Are you sure you are not referring to the Nitto Trail Grappler?

Maybe you can post a pic of a M/T series Terra Grappler, you got me interested in it...

If you are contemplating off-roading, you'd be MUCH better off with 17" Cepek wheels and 35x12.5x17 tires. Next to NO sidewall to flex in a 305/55/20...
