Default next mod

been looking at a cam, and may start a seperate thread on that soon, but the parts add up quick and i cant do it myself so were looking at a $1200 mod there. how can i free up a few hp? im thinking of a low resistance flex fan, since winter is coming up. and im thinking of the old pulley mod, but not sure i'll like the side effects. whats a bang for your buck way to free up 10-20hp before visiting the cam idea?

Torque converter dude! I hear Moes performance sells a nice one, retains pretty much the same stall but "spools" up alot quicker and runs much cooler. Should free up that 10-20 hp you're lookin for!
This will be my next mod. Lets face it, any other converter out there has got to be better than the OEM one!

Most cams need headers for full benefit, so the header idea ain't a bad one.

But if it was me, I'd put in an e-fan. Low investment cost (especially when compared to a Torque Converter) and will get you 14-18 HP for a couple hundred buck investment and a 2 hour install in the driveway. Oh and the 1-2 mpg gain ain't hard to turn down either...
