Default will these rub?

im getting 285/70/17's next week (33 x 11.50) and i have heard you can fit 33's on a stock ram but right now i have 265 70 17's and the tires looks pretty close to the spindle, will my 285's rub?

They will be very close, but guys have put that size on without rubbing.
I have 275's in a 33" tire and JUST measured my clearanc last week. I have 5/8". 285's ren't even 1/2" wider than 275's which would mean the tire distributes that evenly to the inside and outside of the rim. Therefore, you will see at most 1/4" closer to your spindle/upper balljoint. Still leaves 3/8" of clearance!

A friend of mine just put a set of them on a 2007 2wd, so they should fit without a problem

great thanks for the info guys... i can slide my hand in-between the tire and the spindle so it should be good! cant wait to get some real rubber on her!

I have 305/70/17 on mine but I have torsions up front.
