Installed the 12" glasspacks on Christmas Eve. Sound alot better imo than the 18". Straights will be back on soon though. Are there any certain mufflers that produce a louder and deeper tone?

 

I had 18in glasspacks on my 03 and never had a problem with them rusting. I always have mine welded on, and had to have one of them rewelded on the end due to the weld breaking, but there was no problem with the glasspack. Have been running the cherrybomb extremes ever since and haven't had a problem with those either. There is little cracking when your sitting in park reving it up, but when on the highway and put my foot in it, theres no cracking but it is very loud, even in the cab. Only thing is when the mds kicks in it gets real throaty, but here in Texas we like it loud and annoying lol so naturally I love it
