Default Change gearing for more power I hear?

Here is my deal, I have a 2005 4x4 Ram quad cab 1500 with the HEMI. I bought a new camp trailer which in much heavier than my old one and I need to re coop my power I lost when I installed my 33x12x50 mud tires. Would a gear change give me all my power back that had before and would it making towing better? If so what gears would you recommend and what kind of cost would I be looking at to do something like this?

only about $1500 if you dont put in an aftermarket LSD. then again, thats crazy talk. while its open, may as well get it done

i completely agree. 4.56 gears front and rear (9.25" and 8") along with master install kit. For LSD go with Auburn or Detroit Trutrac (they're pretty much the same thing -- some people like McDonalds some people like Burger King).

Lets clarify it doesnt give you more power but lets you get to speed faster by having more gear teeth and lessens the load on the power/drive train. Think of it as using smaller pulleys to lift a load
