Well guys, i know its been a long time since i lurked the forum. Just been so busy with life...even getting married now, (the first day of the end of my life ). I couldnt take the dodge anymore with all her creaks n rattles after being repaired from the tornado crap she was hit in.
I went truck shopping last week, and i bought 1. I know ill get flamed for it BUT...a friend of mine is a chev dealer and he got me an 11 crew cab for 29K. Stickered for 38. A deal i couldnt pass up. Ill pop back every now and then when i have time to read up and maybe just say hey. Of all the forums out there, this by far is the BEST. Lot of GREAT, friendly people here!

That's ok. Goodwrench mechanics need work too. Around here those boys are always busy, but the Dodge boys aren't.
I'm almost tempted to buy a Ford though, just because they dug themselves out of trouble with no government money.

 

No offense but (i'm gonna rant here) for my tastes I cant get over how ugly them chevs are! What is that chunk hangin under the front headlight? Sorry dude, I hadta. Esp. seein the pics together

 

I kinda figured this day would come. You all but disappeared after the tornado took out your truck and you never were satisfied with the repairs.

Hard to have the same feelings for a vehicle after an accident when the thing just ain't the same as it was before.

Good luck with the Cheby. I kinda did the same thing myself. I traded my '98 RCSB 1500 5.9 4x4 Ram in on a Cheby Z71 in '02 because my ex sister in law was doing the sales mgr. at the local Cheby dealership. I got top dollar for trade PLUS cost (and not just invoice but actual cost) on the new truck!
Didn't take me long to come back. Traded that Cheby on my current Hemi in '04...

Paint all the chrome on the front of the car black, and make it look halfway decent! J/k about the decent part, but really paint that stuff black. Good luck!

 

I give it to chevy the trannies are alot better then these crappy 46re's... to be honest id rather have a chevy im tired of dropping trannies in my dang truck !!!

 

That front end is fugly.

The Ram is the hottest looking truck out there IMO. Ford and cheby are ugly and have too much plastic woodgrain on the inside. Not a fan of their body contours and creases.
