Thumbs up New Truck, and new to the Forums!

Just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. Just picked up an 08' Ram 1500 with 7k miles about a week ago. Bought it with a few things done to it. It's lifted, but I'm not sure how much, I'm thinking 4-6". I believe it's BDS, if I remember right from looking at the shocks underneath.

I'd go look again, but I'm in Afghanistan now, lol. I know my dad has an 05' Ram 1500 Lariat and the bottom of my mirrors when parked right next to his are about 3/4 to 1" above the top of his mirrors. The tires are 295/70/17.

Anyway, here's a couple pictures for you viewing pleasure

Anyway, if you may know the lift from the information I've given, please let me know ha-ha

Thanks

Yeah, I loved the fact that the mileage was so low on it. It was one of the first ones we looked at since it had everything done that I was wanting to do if I got a stock one, ie: Lifted, Dual exhaust (not sure if it's true dual, or just dual exit at the moment, didn't look enough...) Not sure if they come stock with carpet or like Rhino lining, but it doesn't have carpet it has something like Rhino lining on the floors, which I like too lol, easy clean up! Tinted windows.

Next thing I want to do is Line-x the bed since it just has the factory bed liner (plastic crap) and Line-x the undercarriage and doors from the indention down.

Once I find out what lift it has for sure, I'll throw on 36" tires if I can. Other than that, it was pretty much a sell as soon as we saw it, couldn't pass up the price and the mileage to boot lol

looks good. I think if you got smaller blocks in the back it would look alot better, remove some of that rake! And a taller more aggressive tire would look great

Quite a few people linex the rockers, I think its a pretty expensive job. New rims would look great too

Some people with white trucks go for a so called stormtrooper look, with just white and black. I think it would look great on your truck. Paint the headlights black, grille white with black inserts, bumper white OR black, black rims....itd be fine lol

Yeah, I'm not sure what's up with that second picture, it makes it look uneven... It isn't uneven though, it's actually fairly level. I hate how much rake it has too though. Reason I'm thinking about putting 36" Tires on it, instead of the 295/70's that are on now (33" I believe)

Definitely going to change the rims out too, more than likely anyway. I've already found some black projector headlights I was thinking about getting too lol.
