If im doing something in my truck w/ the door open the dome light turns off after about 10 seconds, not the 5mins. or whatever it says it's supposed to do in the maunal. I've got the dimmer switch where it should be.

Could it have anything to do with me disabling the annoying seat belt alarm?

Any ideas?

mine does that if my battery is low or if I leave it on too long. Like the first time it will stay on the full minute but after that if i try to reset it, it will do that whole 10sec deal

 

are you asking where your dimmer switch is? If so its right next to the headlight switch:



Look in the manual for the seat belt reminder also

ram man, No, i know where the dimmer switch is, thanks. I've got my seatbelt alarm turned off. My interior lights just turn off very quickly when my doors are open.

everytime i do a key cycle it resets it. Have you tried to reset your ECM by unhooking the neg for a couple mins?
