Does the "Key Dance" work on 2004 ram

Wondering if the key dance works on a 04 ram. Cycling between on-off 3 times and waiting for a readout? What I did to read my code was hold odometer down and turn key on. Thanks

Ive seen many say it does not work on an 04. You need something like an ODB scanner to read the codes

i have tried it on my 04 and it doesnt work but my 03 did.

I have a buddy with a 04 and it doesn't work on his. Guess some do and some don't.
