Default Got new wheels

I picked up my wheels yesterday. 35x12.50r17 cepek fc2 with dc2 rims. They look great. I have been wanting to start dressing my truck for a while now. When I get time I'm going to jack the body up to get an idea of if I want to go ahead and get a lift. Looking at the Rancho 4". But right now I'm pretty happy. It just barley rubs the inner fender on a hard lock.
The only thing is when I got home I noticed no wheel weights. So I called them and asked. They called it a balance bag or something (i don't remember). That's in the wheel. So I said it's like sand. They say it's not sand but better and they highly recommended it for 35 or bigger wheels and it will be smooth as glass. I asked if it would tear up my rims and tires and they said no. That's new to me I've never heard of this. Makes me wonder.

VERY NICE!!!

I've had my FCIIs since '05, put 31k on them and they are just starting to show signs of wear. I really like the DC wheels, but they hit the market about 6 months after I bought my Mickey Thompson Classics or I'da jumped on them as well.
The only thing that disappointed me is if you measure the 35x12.5x17 FCIIs you'll find they barely measure 34". Had I known that, I'da bought the 37s which probably would be 36" which I could clear...

Looks sweet Nick. Yeah, my wife's Sonata had balanced bean beads inside her tires when I pulled them off and threw new one's on. No wheel weights just those little balance bean beads or whatever they are called. I looked online and they are fairly expensive but I hear work very well and I actually began to forget about them because it was 2yrs ago now I did all that.
For those that are wondering, they can be inserted through an open valve stem with the inner taken out. It goes by weight like X grams per so many inches of tire.

Dont you hate that Hammer? Tire manufacturers aren't held to the same standards as other companies and I think it's Horsesh*t. My Coopers barely measured out to 32.5".
Width is a big thing too. Some measure the outside from wall to wall and some measure tread width(footprint) which is how they are suppose to be measured.

I love those Rims. If they came in a more "deep dish" style that would have been my choice when I was looking.

Cool stuff man. Like the look of your truck very much. Most likely I'll go with FCII too.

Thanks for the replies.

Hammer, Do you happen to know the measurement from the ground to the fender? Is the rear higher with the rancho kit? If you don't know, don't worry about it.

Hell, I measured it a while ago for someone, there is a post in this section somewhere with it, but I know it's well over a year old. I can measure again in the light tomorrow. The front and back WERE dead even (or at least within a 1/4" or so) when the kit went on, but four and a half years of grill guard and winch have pulled the front down a little. It's about an inch low now, I can adjust it back up with the key bolts, I just haven't gotten around to it...
