Default Tire Question

Just picked up an 06 Ram w/ the 5.7 in it and it came with Cooper Discover S/T's. It also has the 20's on it. The question is, how well do these tires do in the snow? It is 4x4

Thanks

Awesome. Do your tires have the studs in them or not? Mine are not studded.

Having worn out several sets of the Discover S/T, I have gone to a dedicated winter tire, the Firestone Winterforce UV, with studs, at about half the cost of the Discover S/T. On the other hand, the Discover S/T is a tremendous year round traction tire.

BTW, when the S/T were new, there were far better on ice and snow, 30k miles has reduced their off road traction quite a bit.

i dont have studs in mine. n i have heard these tires do lose a little bit of there traction after a while. but ive also heard that they work amazing for the whole life of the tire, according to the guys out on the gas fields. but ive wanted a set of these tires forever now. n finally got the money for em. i absolutely love em. best tire ive ever had so far.
