the wheels are 18x8.5 with a +18mm backspace (pretty close to stock)

slight rub on the sway bar at full lock left (if it had a 1/16 it would clear)
and i had to remove the mudflaps

been wheelin a bit and no rubbing while turing and going over bumps

but the 07's are way different than the 05's so i don't know if you can do the same

ps 18's show the brakes perfectly. IMO 18's with 35's look way better than 17's on 35's don't know why but they do lol

oh wow so your wheel is pretty close to the XD monsters I was originally looking at. I'm EXTREMELY unsure of what wheel to get..... With wheel spacers I wonder if I can fit the monsters with just a 2.5" level?

But yeah I agree, the 18's with 35's look perfect! truck looks great man

He's got a torsion front, you have a coil front. He's got more room than you do. But with spacers you might can jam them in with a little rubbing. Gonna be close.

If you are so hell bent on 35s and a wheel with so much backspacing, do it the right way and put a lousy $350 body lift on the truck. Hell, you're talking $2000 for the wheels and tires anyway. What's $350 more?

I don't know where you heard that about Nitto Trail Grappler. The Trail Grappler and Terra Grappler are very good on wear. I believe you are thinking of the Nitto Mud Grappler which is an off-road specialty tire and wears VERY quickly on pavement.

The Toyo M/T and Nitto Trail Grappler are almost the same tire, same compound, same basic pattern. Toyo and Nitto are the same company...
I called toyo cause i had there number and I was asking thwem what to fill my mud grappler to and they said toyo and nitto have never been affliated in north america and there a competing company

Default 35's?

I would be very cautious trying to wheel with 35's and only a leveling kit. Fabtech has a 35 inch tire lift kit and it jacks you up 6 inches. Just some food for thought...

Toyo owns Nitto.

and I agree on the body lift. It was easy to put on, cheap, and looks great. I got the Zone which you could get for your truck for $320. With a buddy, a full day easy install.

We are lucky enough for body lifts to not really show the frame so bad. Fords and Chevys already sit high on the frame so they show full frame when a body lift is installed. Here is mine, and you can see the frame underneath. I put some undercoating on it and it blends in well

SOMEBODY LIED TO YOU, KID!!! It's fairly common knowledge.

The Japanese-based Toyo Tire and Rubber Company began in 1945. They formed a partnership in 1999 with Kinugawa Rubber Industrial Co., Ltd. This partnership resulted in the North American Nitto Tire brand.

I have a very good friend who owns a small chain of tire & auto repair shops. He's direct with Cooper (owner of Mickey Thompson & Dick Cepek) and Toyo. He places all his Nitto orders with Toyo...

Eh, I'm deciding on going with the XD Addicts with Nitto Trail just to be safe (-12 offset, 4.5 backspacing)....and because I saw this picture..

Gonna save up again for the Bushwacker pockets and a body lift. Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it!

I'll Post pics as soon as I get them on (if they fit without the lift). I'll yall posted.
