Question Can i get by without a lift

I have a 2005 dodge ram 1500 4x4 with the hemi. Its pretty tall already I had a set of 33x12.50x17 pro comp ats on it and it was fine the tires actually looked small on it. Now I have a set of nitto terra grapplers on it I don't remember the exact size but I do know they were like 2" maybe 3" taller than the pro comp and i still have room to play with. I want to know can i go with a 35x12.50x20 toyo open country mt without a lift. If I have to I can get the lift but I'm kinda trying to avoid that so how much do I need if I do.

theres a thread in this section about fitting 35/12.5 r20s on a 4x4 WITH a 2.5in level, so I would be hesitant to buy a 35s for a stock truck, especially something so wide and with such big lugs. It will be stuffed to the max IF they fit, with no room for flex or towing.

a level is under $100, why dont you go that direction? You can do it yourself.

your truck comes stock with 33" tires (if you didnt have the 20s you didnt have them). Fitting 33s is not an issue, but 35s is.

35s on a 4wd should fit with the front leveled. 4wd's are already more high than a 2wd to begin with
