Dual Exhuast Recommendations

If your having one made, it'll be formed to fit your vehicle. Our trucks do have a large spare tire and the exhaust has to fit around that. Other than that, it's a straight dump under the pass side footwell where the crushed Y-pipe is. Not sure when 3" started?? You might be 2.5"?
Get yourself a Magnaflow Stainless Y-pipe. They run $30 online and have that replace your stck one. it will take minor fabrication so they might charge you 1/2hr for extra labor when putting it in. You have to cut the stock Y and weld it in. Or have them make one. Check THIS thread out.
I like magnaflow for exhaust preference. I'd go with a single in dual out muffler with 4" tips.
Just remember, dual exhaust out the back tends to resonate when towing trailers.

Mine is a 04 1500 lifted and leveled with a full custom dual exhaust. Ive got a bit more in mine than you are likely wanting to do but I supplied all the material such as headers, x pipe, cutouts, mufflers and tips. The shop supplied the pipe, bent it and welded everything up for me.
The first shop was going to do it for 200 or 225 but backed out on me and the other shop did it for 300.
But the first shop was going to do it with my cats whereas the second did it w/o the cats so I could justify the extra cost for doing that for me.
