The lens on my factory lights were trashed, so I bought a new set already painted. I may pull them apart using the method in the link, just to re silicone them. The drivers side one fogged up a few days after install, so I pulled them both out and added a layer of silicone around the channel and just this morning both of them had a bit of fog in them.

Your write up, you mean??? Cause that truck at the top is an 04.
Checked yours out...why use the oven? How hard is it without the oven?
Also not sure how that would look with my color. I think the Chrome pops more than the black with the electric blue.

You need the oven to melt the glue holding the lights together. Supposedly someone did it with a heat gun but I wouldnt take the chance with the uneven heat and chance of warping and fogging
And it looks more custom done, I like it

BTW, I did mine on 255 degrees for 12 minutes.... ... What also made it easier was taking a sharp blade utility knife... and cutting into the black glue before hand..... i tried this on the second one because the first one was a bit hard to get apart.... The second one came apart in under a minute.
