what kind of mpg's are you guys getting with the hemi in a 2500?? just wondering because i can't decide if my next truck should be a 2500 hemi or cummins
I want a 2500 because i want to lift it without dealing with IFS components, but can't justify getting a diesel
sorry for the thread jack but seems like all the HD HEMI's are here lol
thanks

My driving is pretty much small town backroads stuff (no stoplights too often). I've been getting a solid 12-12.5 in the summer, slightly less this winter. Gotten as good as 14.3 a few time this past summer. Towed my buddys Jeep down to an off road park and got 11.2.

I've had as good as 16.4 on the interstate. Average anywhere between 11-12 city. Usually closer to the 11. It has plenty of power for me. I plow snow so I reset the computer often.

Here's the old girl before my last big work weekend where I took off the running boards, fixed my snow deflector, and put the Rough Country leveling springs on it.

99ramman, why does it look like there is only a snow flap on the passenger side of the plow? No pics of the new setup?

Yeah, looks good! What springs are they, Rough Country? How much did you actually gain from them? Did you notice any better ride with the new coils and Bilsteins?
Hows those bald Michelins getting you around hahahaha?

Well as you can guess tires are on the way next. Prolly just get 33's They are rough country. I got a good 3.5 out of them. I was only an inch off to start so now I got a little cali to it. Gonna wait til spring to see if they sag any. The new coils are stiffer than factory but I bet they'll soften up a bit. It still rides like the lumber wagon it is. I'm waiting on my srt 10 gauge pod then I'm putting in a tranny temp gauge. After that I'
ll be looking at programmer, cai, and tires. Still debating the debaging.
