Default Car seat for 06 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab

Any recommendations for infant carseats that will fit ok in a Quad Cab truck. Just got a new Graco and you gotta move the seat all the way up which isn't gonna work. Any ideas?

Are you sitting the car seat up and not completely horizontal? I dont remember any issues with ours in my QC when the kids were small.

That's what I thought too, and here's what I figured out. It doesn't even fit well in my wife's CRV, and I know the old seats fit in that. The new car seats you get at Toys R Us etc are alot bigger than the older ones, but not sure why. I had one of our old ones from 2004 that was in the attic still so I pulled it out and it fits alot better than this new one. That old seat used to fit in my 01 quad cab so I was definately saying WTF. Can't reuse the old seat (thought about it) but it's too old and it is showing some plastic fatigue where the dark blue plastic has faded to light blue in places from being in the heat in the attic for so long. So I'm trying to get ideas on what works.

The new one will fit in the middle, but I would like to keep my 6 year old and the newborn as far apart for my and my wife's sanity if you know what I mean. I know she's gonna be a loving big sister but I know she's gonna drive me nuts with messing with the little one etc. Best to remove the temptation if you know what I mean.

I know what you are going through. What I have found is that the seat pretty much has to go in the center. There is really no way around it unless you have the front seat all the way forward.

Although, I guess you could trade your truck in on a megacab
