Default Brakes still original at 61,000 miles?

How long did your original brakes last?

I haven't touched my brakes yet and was thinking of those slotted drilled sets on eBay everyone seems to like but when will I need them?

I just hit 50k miles, tow on occasion and still have my original brakes as well. Last time I changed the oil, I rotated the tires and the fronts still didn't look half gone. I have been planning PowerSlot rotors and Hawk pads when these pads go, but it looks like I still may be waiting awhile...

I think i on my 3rd set on the front and second on the rear. But thats likely because of my big rims and tires and pulling a trailer a lot.....lol

Thank God for lifetime warranties.

Just hopped up over 50k and mine are still be in proper working order. I'm in the same mindset as you though when it is time for new ones, upgrading to slotted rotors. Stopping power is well worth the money invested.
