Well I came across a Pioneer HU that a buddy of mine had ordered for his truck but then ended up trading that truck on a new truck that has navi and all the other bells and whistles, so he has no use for it. He got it off an E-bay store so no returns. I am helping him with his lift install so he simply handed it over....cha-ching!

I slapped that thing in my dash...modded my factory bezel for a temporary bezel until I get a more complete stereo install! I have a JBL 10'' sub, JBL 5 channel amp already. I just need to remove the center seat up front, build a center counsel with a amp rack and sub box inside of it, and get new door/dash speakers and run wire for them!

did you have to use the
Metra CHTO-02 Interface



to get this to be installed? I am looking at installing a Pioneer Avic f700b in mine

I used a Pacific Accessory Corporation (PAC) C2R-CHY4, because that is what my local car stereo shop had in-stock and I have no patience at all! http://www.pac-audio.com

 

BusDriver, did you have the factory Infinity stereo? I just got my deck and ordered the same interface. The online installation instructions for the interface are a little confusing as it requires a backup (reverse) wire connection, a VES connection, and one other I can't remember right now I think. Can you remember what color these wires were or where you found them. Any help would be awesome.
