Default ABS/BRAKE Light - Speedo Fixed

Seen a tons of people on here with the same problem I had. ABS/ Brake light on...speedo acting funny. I don't drive the truck too often anymore as I have a company vehicle, but I took a short day on tuesday to go home and screw around with it.

The ABS/speed sensor on the rear pumpkin was the issue. Very simple fix. $35 at the local Napa for the speed sensor, and about 20 minutes of labor. 1/2" Wrench...and I believe a 9/16" wrench...and a flat head screwdriver.

Weird angle, but simply use the 1/2" wrench to remove the first bolt that holds the abs lines in place... then remove the 2nd bolt with the bigger wrench. Pry up/pull the sensor out...drop the one in. Plug it in... All the lights are gone...speedo is back to perfection.

Just be gentle when you pry it out, mine seemed like it wanted to shatter so I was very very careful.
