Default Tire Questions and Pics

Hey not sure if this is the right spot, but I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 and it has the factory 20's on it. I put a front end leveling kit on it, and am considering 1 inch blocks for the rear end, and was curious as to how much rubbing would occur with 35x12.50R18. Im looking into the Toyo Open Country which is truely a 35.1x11.4 or somethin and figured it was my best choice for width and rubbing problems, considering the Nitto Mud Grappler is actually a 35x13.4 or close to it. Please post some advice or pics with leveling kits and 35s to help me out!!!!

Welcome to the site.

2wd or 4wd?

12.5" wide is tight to do but do-able with the right rims and backspacing. Anything more will need spacers.

2004 4x4 and I am for sure getting the rear blocks. Do those require new rear shocks with the blocks?

Another thing is how much of an offset and backspacing would be enough for the tires that im wanting, so I can shop for appropriate rims?

4.5" backspacing or -12mm offset on 9" wide wheels
