Yesterday, I broke a tie rod on my 2008 Ram 3500. I drove to my destination, went to leave and it snapped. Makes me very concerned especially when five minutes before i was on the highway going 75 mph. I have a 6" BDS lift and 37" tires. Can someone recommend a heavy duty tie rod so I no worries in the future!

 

Did the lift kit not include oversized tie rod/ends? The ones that came with my Rancho kit are a good bit bigger than the stockers they replaced, not to mention they are greasable. I'd figure that would be an automatic with a kit for a 2500/3500 that would clear 37s.

Try Moog...

 

I replaced both mine with MOOG. They are greasable, and have a lifetime warranty.

No, i dont believw it did. Moog is the answer though. I'm just concerned this is going to happen again and it won't be so pretty! Glenn
