Default Shock Advice 03 Ram 1500

At 138000 miles I think its about time to replace my stock shocks...I know I know, long overdue!!

So what are my options? I'm looking for some opinions on what people prefer...

-My torsion bars are cranked up to bring the truck almost level.
-I plow with my truck (I know, its a 1500 bla bla bla, flame on:-) ) - Western Ultramount 1/2ton plow
-I do a good amount of towing/hauling.

I don't want to totally stiffen up the ride, but I wouldn't mind the ride being a bit stiffer in the front to help out with the plow. As far as the rear goes, I have air bags for when I tow/hual...so no need to stiffen up the back.

What do you guys think? I looked at the Rancho RS9000XLs...freakin expensive...are they worth it. They seem to be adjustable.

What else...?

Thanks!

Blisteins are good, maybe a hair stiffer than stock on my 2wd, I think monroe shocks tend to be softer. The adjustable one's are the best if you wanna be able to change the stiffness to suit your taste but they are expensive.

Yea, I found the 'Shock sticky' thread up above...a lot of Bilstein fans in there! I'm leaning towards Bilsteins or Rancho...

anyone else...?

Thanks

I got a couple reviews on the Rancho rs9000xls saying they aren't worth the money unless you plan on always changing the settings. I hear the Rancho rs5000 will give a great ride!
