Default pulling a trailer

Have a 06 2500 4x4 quad cab with hemi am pulling a horsetrailer with living quarters. full up weight about 12,000lbs. will a cold air intake help any?
Or will a thottle body spacer?or using both?Or a chip?

A chip will help you out more so than a CAI or TBS. A TBS is basically to be used as a paperweight and have proven to be a waste of money to many on this forum. A CAI can net you some power, but is really only beneficial if combined with a free flowing exhaust system. The most beneficial modification that you can make for towing is a good quality trailer brake controller, and some lower gearing (ie. 4.56's).

Bigger cam, lower gears and a few other things I guess would help. Putting just a CAI on it isnt going to do much at all for what you are trying to do.

Default trailer pulling

yeah sorry about that on the 2 posts thought it didn't go first time.
i have a brake controller on. i feel if I want a lower gearing I'll just run at 2500 rpm in what gear that would be 3 or 4?.As I have 3.73's wouldn't going to 4.56 put me at 2500 ish rpm in the top hole anyway?
