Default Worst buying experience ever.......

Saw that a lot of guys recommend 4Wheel Parts... Easily the worst decision I've made buying parts online. I ordered a set of shocks for my '03 1500 towards the end of DECEMBER... I ordered them online only after I called to confirm the part # for a leveled truck. They arrived after Christmas, which I expected, but the fronts were shipped for an '08 3500. No big deal, I called and got return UPS numbers. I shipped the fronts back separately in the original boxes. Still towards the end of December.

They arrived back to 4 Wheel not too long after, but separately, a day apart. The ticket gets "closed out", so they show my return as incomplete. After 2 phone calls explaining what I did on my end, they find the "missing" shock on a shelf somewhere, and tell me that they'll take care of me. About 40 days later, I get ONE shock back.... ONE!!!! So I call, and have to start the process all over again, even though the UPS tracking #'s show they arrived within 24 hours of one another.... Now they are out of the model I need, and have to wait for who knows how long. They told me a week a month ago the last time I called...... No offer to priority ship, no sorry, no nothing.. I will never order anything from this company again.

I only use them for in store buying. Personally, with any thing that has to deal with a non-stock part, I would definetly buy in person that way theres is no trouble. It took me 3 trips just to get shocks for my level truck also.

I'm not a big fan of the place, but lots of times they are the only place that has what I need in a warehouse that's only a day away from a local store and they'll price match, so they will be as cheap as anyplace even though their listed prices are a bit high.

I'll only order and pick up in store the next day as I have a shop about 30 miles from me, thisaway I know I have the right thing before I walk out the store...

I wouldnt care if they lost them or not. As long as YOU have a tracking number showing they were delivered, then whatever THEY did with them is on them.

Sorry to hear about the issues though. I know its gotta suck big time

I felt the same way about the tracking #'s. UPS shows them as delivered, send me the right stuff.

Oh, well. Live and learn.

I have ordered a lot of stuff form them, including my wheels and never had any problems. It sucks that you got so many problems but they work good and the prices are reasonable and they price match!

Oh well, Good Luck!!!!
