Exclamation HELP: Debadging a black 04 hemi sport?

I just bought a 2004 black hemi sport. Thinking about debadging the whole truck, especially the ugly HEMI SPORT sticker. Any thoughts on color difference on a 7 year old truck? I know black isn't the most forgiving color. Anyone had a similar experience with an older truck?

use a 3m wheel (earaser) there might be some fade try wax , there will probably be a shadow in some light, but shouldnt be that out standing , for the badges take a string line and get it in between there and go up and down and it will cut them right off then use the 3m on the black adhesive.

it shouldn't be too bad. i debadged my 01 ram last year. it was navy and on the 01 i removed all the 1500 v8 emblems, plus i removed the rubber piece that went across the middle of the doors. on the tailgate i removed the plastic piece that was along the bottom and the 4x4 and dodge words.

i used fishing line and the eraser wheel. there was some ghosting but it was not noticable unless you tried looking really hard in the right light. i would use the fishing line to cut through the adhesive. next use the eraser wheel and dont be afraid to apply pressure but dont stay in one spot too long. after this i would use goo gone autos. after this wash your truck and then clay the area where there might be ghosting. last apply a coat of wax. good luck. the truck will look way better in the end and save those crappy pieces. they are expensive!!! like $50 a pop. turn around and sell them on ebay...you never know if people want to put that stuff back on.

Yes X3 ...all the above.
I debaged my 2005 a few months ago. with fishing line and the eraser wheel. After the wheel, I was concerned that there was some show, some ghosting, haze etc.. but after detailing it is gone.
