So the 6.5 sounds better than the 6x9? I like the component setups, but dont want to mount the tweeter on the door. Has anyone installed the tweeter in the dash where the factory infinities go?

I don't know about "better" just different. I definitely like the component setup much better! But to each his own. It really separates the High's and the 6.5 gives good mid-range fill. No need for a larger 6x9 since I was installing a sub for the bass.

The tweeters came with different adapters for different mounting situations. So I wouldn't think it would be too hard to mount them in the dash, you just don't want to mount it too far away from the mid.

Looks good. I wish I knew how to build my own sub boxes, but Im not very handy with stuff like that. If I had the skill to do that I would sell them online, especially if your building them at a low cost, but that's just the entrepreneur talk, it's my major. The box came out great!

I would like to mount a sub, but having a single cab its hard to give up storage space and I'm not cutting up my tray in the back.
