I don't think I will ever fully understand how until I try it for myself. With the price of gas/fuel and the cost of maintenance, I just don't understand how a guy can make a dime plowing. Obviously there is money involved as MANY people do it in the winter, but I just cant see it.

So whats first on your list, a 6" and 37's or motor/tranny work?

Nice truck and really low mileage on it to boot.

Sub rates are 100per hour out here. Most of my **** is off the books as well and I get alot of calls to come push people out and of course I must "fix" my prices.

I'm looking for a tuner prob getting a smarty and an exhaust leveling kit and call it good... but I would really like 4" and 36" OHHHHHH if I still had the $ I dumped into my 2nd gen. I still have that truck for now.

$100/hr? Holy hell! You're in a good region for plowing.

I sub contract at $50/hr and bid for my own contracts at $65/hr. Driveways are a starting price of $30 in city and $40 outside city. But even still my truck costs MAYBE $6/hr to run. And even after that and the maintenance budget I'm still bringing home ~$30/hr. Not too bad.

Sweet truck though, what kind of plow you run?

P.S. Flip down your tow mirrors.

Any of you guys have a picture of your trucks with the plow attached? I would love to see that. Don't have enough snow to speak of in Southern California to have ever seen a plow on a pick up.

That is awesome! That's what you do for a living, or just a side job? You work for a business or have your own license?

I just flipped them up for the pic they have been down since.

I'm just out side the philadelphia pa helps bumps the rates up I plow alot of private roads... I do the same for drive 30 per push and up.

My half ton has a snowdogg on it... not sure if im gonna plow with the diesel or not.
