I installed my XEBON HID kit, the bulbs are 9007L. Anyways the issue I am having, when I turn my lights on, they come on, and when I hit the high beams they shut off. When I start the truck it shows on the dash board that there is an issue with the lights. One time the lights went off completely and I shut off the truck and turned it back on, turned on the lights and the lights came back on.
It did not come with any relay harness and I believe this may be the issue. The truck I have is a Dodge 1500 2004 model.

Are these vehicles supposed to have the 9007 Bulb or the 9007L and do I need a relay for the 2004?

If anyone has ran across a thread that someone had the same issue with, please post the link here, or if someone knows the quick fix.
