Default Pad / rotor recommendations

I have an '03 ram 1500 4x4, just read up a tsb for my break calipers which explains my brake problem ive been having for quite some time. I have ordered the new calipers (a1 cardone reman) and am now looking for a good set of rotors and pads to replace the current ones the calipers destroyed. I'm going for BLANK rotors, none of that useless fancy slotted/drilled/whatever rotors, and some good ceramic pads. I've found many reviews on many brands, but theyre all tested on sport cars, not trucks so any reviews good or bad on rotors or pads would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you are just going for plain jane rotors, look at your local auto parts store for a set with a lifetime replacement warranty. They are often on the cheap and if one happens to warp, you can walk out with a new one.

As far as pads, I've always been partial to EBC and Hawk pads...

Technical Service Bulletin. A technical service bulletin is actually an advisory issued by a manufacturer for use by dealership service departments. They frequently address a recurring problem and include illustrated instructions for repair, a list of the parts needed and the normal time it takes the tech at a dealership to complete the task.

Kinda like a cheat sheet or Cliff Notes for techs...

no, no, no, ha ha ha, after turning wrenches for 10+ years I know tsb's...i need the tsb # to look it up and read it, unless of course it's posted here and I just overlooked it. I'm just lazy at times and don't feel like searching the internets for it...that and my 3 children barely leave me time for bathroom breaks these days.

My bad... LMAO...

I'm sure somebody will get some use out of the post though. I would imagine more than a few around here don't know what a TSB is...
