True that the entire tire is more than an inch taller, but if the OP's concern is rubbing, than thinking about adding 1/2 inch to the height of the tire is more relevant. Think about the vehicle overall being raised 1/2 higher relative to the axle center line, and also that the tire is 1/2 inch closer to the wheel wells.
