tinted headlights?

Default tinted headlights?

hey so while i was painting my buddies tail lights on his truck today I was curious about doing just a light tint to the headlights on my own truck. was just curious as to if anyone had done this before? and also if you have how do the lights show through the tint? still pretty bright? post some pictures if you have done this.

any degree of tint on your headlights is dumb.

I know all the old people will gripe about you doing it as far as "safety" but honestly, these heads put out more than most peoples brights even on dim. You will be alright with a few light coats

That said, I saw it done and it didnt look great. Laminx on it looks a ton better IMO

Ya i did the lamin-x gunsmoke i like the way it looks but it does reduce the light some but not too bad they offer one that's not as dark called "tint" but was afraid it wouldn't be dark enough.I think if i had it to do over again and at some point probably will just get some Recon headlights.But that's for another day HAHA.
