Default Are throttle body spacers worth it?

Been looking at some throttle body spacers and thinking of getting one but cant decide if they will even make a difference or if it is just like a placebo effect making me think they really make a difference. What do ya'll think?

They make pretty good paperweights. Kinda expensive for that, though. A rock works well for that. Otherwise, spend your money on something else.

Agreed. Search around DF, you will see that is the consensus. Our plastic intakes do not absorb/hold heat like solid aluminum ones do.

throttle body spacers worked for the older trucks where the fuel injection was right in the throttle body and you wanted the increased time to mix with the air to get better performance. The dodges have an injector per cylinder so there is no need for the mixing in the throttle body. You will not get any performance gains from one on your truck but hey some guys like the look.

Definitely agree with this. I had one on a 1993 chevy 350 4 wheel drive and didn't notice much difference there either.
