Egr mil light @ code cleared!
2007 Dodge RAM 1500 - HEMI
My mil light @ code was picked up by my auto x-ray diagnostic computer. I disconnected both the positive and negative battery terminals, then i removed the electric. E.g.r. Valve and sprayed the plunger with carburator cleaner. I thoroughly cleaned the mount face on the engine head. I sprayed carburator cleaner into the head's "port opening" and followed that by quickly blowing the port out with compressed air. I tested the sulenoid by applying voltage and noted that the plunger was being activated. I reinstalled the valve, re-connected the battery and have made several 4-6 hour trips since and the problem seems to be solved!

I will move this over to the 3rd gen Ram section (2002-2008 Dodge Ram 1500s).
