I just replaced my transmission
What a pain in the a$$
Finally done though, working good.
I put in a Magnaflow Cat Back too, just for fun & a k&n cai, the sound is awesome.
I was planning on Changing my shocks also while I had the wheels off, I had bought Monroe Reflex all around but the front ones would not fit right. I think the previous owner changed the lower control arms or something, the mounting bolt was WAY too big for the shock bushings. I will have to measure everything up, I will need to find the extended length shocks due to torsion bar crank.
I found myself a cheap revised pdc and swapped that too!
Found a bum ball joint, a torn cv boot ( from recent hub blowout ) the mechanic tore it, I may have him change the boot too, it wasn't my fault.
When the hub blew out on me, I was on the way to my office to do my brakes, so I had the shop do the new brakes for me, wound up needing 2
calipers and bought all 4.
My truck has so many new parts on it, it's like a new truck.
