Wow me/my truck got so lucky last night
So yesterday work called and my shop supervisor asked if I wanted the day off. I said yes since it's the second to last week of classes and I'm super busy. Well I'm reading the news this morning and the highway I take home has a rather large 2 lane each direction bridge on it. Something happened at one of the joints in the bridge where a bunch of steel rods were sticking 6-12 inches in the air and ended up damaging over 30+ cars.. some cars had entire undercarriages ripped out, oil pans punctured, flat tires, all sorts of ****.. I woulda been on that road at the exact time it happened had I not been given the day off... I can't imagine how bad it is going to be for those people to get Penndot and the contractors that were doing construction on the bridge to pay for it..
