New front shocks to suit rear airbags ?

My TRX doesn't have any All Wheel Drive mode, 2wd, 4 HI, 4 low (both with locked centre diff), rear end has 'Anti-Slip' LSD, which I think is the standard plate type diff which is better than nothing but won't lock up if one wheel has no traction such as one wheel on ice, the other not.
The Rancho kits were listed as being suitable for either stock or lifts of 4", so why would the 4" kit be any different for a TRX or maybe they just mean the Stock kit is not suitable due to the 1" suspension difference from stock for the TRX ?

Call Rancho, nice people. I had to call them when I had a tie rod end go (after 5 years) on my Rancho lift kit. Was only asking them where I could purchase one and they not only sent me a replacement, but also a new one for the other side - FREE...
