Hi i have A 03 dodge 1500 truck and im look to get a performance chip for it im wondering wat the best chip i can get for it and i have purchased a g force chip and i was reading some review and it said it was a scam

 

Welcome to the forum

I like to recommend the superchip, as do many of the other members here. As long as you don't plan on internal engine mods or FI, the SC should suit all of your needs.

As far as the GF "chip", yes, you've been scammed. As far as I've heard, it is merely a resistor that tricks the ECU into thinking the intake air charge is cooler than it actually is, thus dumping more fuel into the mix. I would see if you can get your money back.

k thanks if u were to suggest any mods i should do to my engine wat should i do and after those mods wat kind of chip should i get and wat about dyno apps on the iphone are they worth it

 

With a 4.7 you can get some HO cams and upgrade to the 08 intake. Look at getting a Superchips tuner.

As for the dyno apps, they will not give true Dyno results as for HP and TQ. These are apps to play with for novelty.
