Well, I saw a local news report this morning saying that oil is under $100 a barrel BUT, it would have to stay there for about 3-4 weeks for any savings to "filter down" to the pumps.

WTF? They raise the price at the pumps within a day at the "hint" of oil going up or the "hint" of any trouble that "may" start in the middle east, but it takes a month for it to reflect in the price at the pump AFTER oil goes down???

I dunno, my degree isn't in economics, maybe someone on here can explain this to me...

Thats the thing that gets to me...they can raise the prices 10cents over night, but i'll be damned if it takes a week or more to lower half of that!

Gouging...corruption...all of the above as the reasons why...

I say lets turn the Middle East into a nice sheet of glass and drill in the US...

I remember when gas was .89 gal pre9/11. Go in with a 5 spot and get half a tank in moms Chrysler cirrus. I honestly would be happy with 2.50 or lower. Maybe 3 just maybe....

Good news guys, I just read where analysts are predicting gas prices to fall as much as $0.50 by Summer. I read this on my local news site, www.whec.com

I hope the story is accurate-

Yeah they'll drop it 50 cents, once it hit the five dollar mark...

Time to tap into the homeland.
