I would at least upgrade the springs and push rods to 6.1

Well I finally ordered my cam, I went with the Lunati Voodoo Cam. I also bought the valve springs that Lunati Required for it. I have one question about the pushrods. Do I need to put different sized pushrods with that cam and springs? The 6.1 pushrods? Here are the specs of the cam, and valve springs:

Adv. Duration:260/264
Duration @ 0.050" :209/213
Gross Lift:.506"/.512"
LSA/ICL:113
Valve Lash:Hyd/Hyd
Lifters:N/A
Springs:74835LUN
Retainers:
Locks:
Valve Spring Kit:
Timing Set:
Pushrods:
Rocker Arms:
RPM Range:1200-5200

Lunati 74835LUN HEMI Ovate Beehive Valve Spring .600" Lift, 1.210"-1.035" O.D., .805"- .630" I.D.
Seat Load:135@1.800"
Open Load:350@1.200"
Coil Bind:1.160"
Rate (Lbs/In.):358

More than likely yes it will need new rods. You need to contact the cam manufacturer and ask them for sizes. If its a custom ground cam or reground cam based off the 6.1 cam you will need custom rods not just the reg. 6.1 rods. I will say this though I have heard of quite a few people having the beehive springs break on them and almost all end up with the 6.1 springs instead.

For the cam, the duration and LSA look to be about what the Comp 260 is at (Duration: Intake 208* Exhaust 212* / LSA: 113*) but the lift seems real low.

Have you found someone to tune it? Or better yet will it run on a canned tune?

They said it doesn't need a tune like the other two do, but I have a canned SCT tune from Hemifever. Here is the info they put on the Voodoo cams, I ordered the PN61900. I am just looking for more torque to pull more in the hills. Don't get me wrong, I want it to haul *** too. But Torque is what moves you, and the other two cams will work poorly on a heavy truck IMO. But I would like all the feedback possible.

Though all three of them work well with blown and nitrous applications, the mildest one (PN 61900) provides excellent torque at low speeds through mid-range; it is also ideal for Hemi-engine pick-up trucks pulling boat trailers or similar.

The intermediate camshaft (PN 61901) is ideally suited for higher performance engines with upgraded valve springs, aftermarket programmers, and higher stall-speed converters.

The most aggressive one (PN 61902) serves a wide range of modified applications, including those with an aftermarket converter, upgraded intake, a blower or nitrous induction.

Plus, it would be nice to give others feedback on the Lunati Voodoo cam. I know I'm not the only one wondering if its any good or not.

OP hasn't logged on since July 20th so I would venture to say he never got it done.
