Well I'm pretty sure my exhaust manifold or somewhere around my headers is leaking so I'm thinking about redoing it all! I was thinking about getting some decent longtubes, removing the cats and having it a true dual setup both sides going into magnaflow mufflers. Any input on this?? And it is a hemi. Latly it has just been feeling underpowered or maybe just used to driving my c5 vette! Will the longtubes help with power, towing and fuel economy at all?
Also I live in Oklahoma so I don't have to worry about emissions checks or any kind of inspections so no one needs to worry about that.

 

Fuel economy...gonna have to just swallow your wallet on that one bud.
Longtubes generally lose idling torque, but create more power more towrds middle and especially upper. LT's are gonna be better than shorties overall, but shorties would give better low end.
Removing the cats won't help anything. they are high flow from factory, so nothing there except burning/teary eyes if you back into a garage or whatever.
Best bet is get a tuner so you can change the shifts. Superchips has the best set-up, you can go in the sticky at top of the main page for more info.

That's kinda what I figured on economy. I really just want more power I have a diablo trinity and intake already. I'm just kinda over worrying about economy but wondered if it would help at all. I have a megacab 4x4 lifted with 37s so I kinda threw the economy away at that point haha but it looks good
